** REQUIREMENTS **
1) Functional installation of DirecTV Remote+ Pro by Cognitial Mobile (further details available below)
2) An SD card (removable or non-removable) must be present for this add-on to access your DirecTV Remote app settings

* Please note that while this add-on allows shortcut creation with the free version, full functionality requires the PRO version to be installed.

** USAGE **
To begin, launch the app and create the desired shortcuts/widgets for your home screen. Alternatively, you can add them by long-pressing on your home screen, then selecting 'add shortcut' or 'widget' (specifics vary based on device and Android version). Look out for the DirecTV Remote+ Shortcut Add-on icon.

** ALTERNATE USAGE **
This add-on app can also integrate with other apps like Tasker (using a shortcut plugin) to automate repetitive tasks!

** IMPORTANT **
If you opt to specify a destination receiver for the shortcut (instead of 'whichever was used last'), it is highly recommended to use static IP addresses or DHCP Reservation. When receiver names are modifiable in the Pro version, specified destinations are linked to the receiver's IP address rather than its name. Further information on setting up receivers is available on the support site. In case receivers don’t use static or reserved addresses, shortcuts with designated receivers will have to be reconfigured upon IP address alterations.
